Still trying to place my John Chadwick with anyone. This John was brn abt 1800/1820 believed to be NC,but have saw where he may have been brn in GA or SC,and believed to married a Mary Hodgin's,and or a Mary James brn abt 1831 NC per the 1900 Anderson Co TN census. I do know they lived in GA abt 1850's where my Gfather also named John Chadwick was brn abt 1852/60 died 1917 Bell Co KY at the age of about 65 per his death cert.
John Chadwick # 1 may have been a Mason,and some said he was a Circuit Rider,also heard he came from Eng,and into the Carolina's,and while there he met,and married a Indian lady,and moved on into Ga,and TN. Was Mary this Indian Lady?. They may have been the parents of 7 or 8 children with 3 still living in 1900,and I believe the names were John brn abt 1852/60 GA died 1917 Bell Co KY, Abraham Abe brn abt 1854/58 GA died abt 1920's Bradley Co TN,and James Jim Chadwick brn after 1860 either GA/AL or TN,and died abt 1950's OK.
