Hi Dennis. I was on Ancestry and found out that my Great Great Grandfather, Freidrich Gabrielson's father's name was Gabriel Hansen. This was new information that we never knew before. It was on his Illinois Death Record. Do you have any information regarding Freidrich and whether or not he is related to your Gabrielson side of the family? My Great Grandfather was Heinrich (Henry) Charles Gabrielson, who married Christianna Denecke. My grandmother was Gladys Christianna Louisa GABRIELSON and my mother is Ruth Gladys Hauser. My maiden name is Debra Lynn Franklin. I'd love to find out what I can about Gabriel and why the name was changed to Gabrielson when they came here from Norway.
