Surnames: Case, Clark, Frank
Hello,
I am wondering if Caleb/Calbert Case and/or his wife Clarissa (Clara) Case are buried in Racine. Caleb was the founder of the Case Farm Implement Co., of Racine, WI.
Caleb was born 13 Dec 1787 and died 1874. His wife was born about 1807, I don't know when she died. Her maiden name was Clarissa Wentworth Clark, and her first marriage was to E. W. FRank. Her marriage to Case was her second. Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.
Thanks, Heather

Surnames: Douty
Hi Steve,
Do you know if John Douty b. 1804 d. Jun 10, 1886/87 and his wife Mary Ann Douty b. 1806 d. bet. 1870-1880 are buried in Racine? They had lived in Omro, aren't buried there. John's last photo was taken in Racine in 1885, perhaps they moved there?
Thanks, Heather

Hi Heather, I search all over the place here and could find no one with that last name (Douty) listed in the Death books. I looked from 1875 through 1895. There simply is not anyone with that last name covered in these years. Perhaps they spelled the last name differently? I even looked in our City Directories for that time period and again found nothing. Sorry. Do you have any suggestions. Steve

Steve, I just went back to the photograph to look. I got confused. It wasn't Racine where John Douty's last photo was taken it was Ripon. I'm so sorry. I am from Montana and have never been to Wisconsin, so don't know the geography well enough. I do thank you for all your effort!
Sorry, Heather
