I have never used Sampubco to order wills, however I have used the information to go directly to order a will from the county where the information is held. Instead of paying the enormous amount they want I just paid about $5.50. Good luck.

If someone wasn't paying that "enormous fee" you wouldn't be able to use the information the site provides.

Yes. I pay my fee to Ancestry.com every month. If you do a lot of research you will find that there are better ways to get information then going through a middle man. If you make a direct call to the place that has the information you need you will get that information for less and get it faster. Some times it is worth paying twice as much or more to let someone else do the foot work. Sampubco doesn't cover every state. If you Google Sampubco you will see what kind of problems people have encountered trying to get information from them.

I do a lot of research and I do know what you mean about finding others to help out. Also, I know Sampubco only covers a small part of the areas that we all search. However, that said, I have found them useful when combined with info I have gleaned from elsewhere.

Agreed. Sampubco is a terrible service. You will wait for eternity to receive your documents and be met with abrupt rudeness or silence if you make an inquiry of any sort. Instead, call the county office where the will is located and you will get much better, cheaper, and friendlier service.
Five weeks after sending away for two wills, I e-mailed "W David Samuelsen" and politely asked what I should do if the promised maximum of 30 days had come and gone without receiving the wills. I got a very annoyed response claiming that because I sent a check, he would tend to my order 30 days from the following month.
Two months have now gone by, and I have still not received what I purchased. I sent another e-mail this month and it does not appear as if he will respond.

I sent for a document the middle of May 2011 and still have not gotten it. It said on the site if he cashed your check you would know that you had done everything right! Well he cashed my check and as of August 28, 2011 I still have gotten no response from him! I am going to try to get it touch with him some way. However, from what I have read it is better to get scanned images delivered to your pc. But he has so many do and do nots I got thoroughly confused

I sent an oder by mail and a check June 16, 2011. He cashed my check June 24, 2011 ! It's now Aug 29, 2011 and I still have not received anything.
I wouldn't mind so much waiting if he would at least provide a phone number and answer, so I could know he's not a con artist. My order only cost $13.00 I wasn't about to spend a lot on someone I was not sure of. It's not the money that bothers me but that someone would scam genealogy researchers and he lives in Utah too !!! That's a big sin isn't it?
I don't care how rude he can be. I can dish it out. Bring on David! I'm going to blog him all over the net for this if I don't get a response. Does anyone have his current phone number ? I found two numbers that don't work.
Thanks, Pam

I emailed him at
DSam@sambuco.com
and it came back as invalid. Could you give me his current address please.
Or if you have found a valid phone number that would be appreciated.
Pam

I think you sent your email to an incorrect address.
It's sampubco -- not sambuco
