i'm descended from john preston, son of john preston and rosanna sinar. Two of the sons, John and Joseph, moved up to yorkshire to work on the mines, while Jonathan and his family, together
with his mother Rosanna and her second husband John Harrison went to america. i've got lots of info so far on the two yorkshire families, and for quite a long way back - definitely till the mid 18th cent, and possibly to the mid 17th, if one link could be proved. i'd love to hear more about your part of the family, maybe we could pool resources
