If your information is related to Bulgarian genealogical research and not specific to Mike's family I would greatly appreciate any advise you might have. I am looking for the family of my husband's grandfather. In the U.S. he was known as Steven C Bodell but he wrote for my husband that his real name was Stefan Koleff or Coleff; he had an older brother Jordan and a younger brother Staecho; he came from Pavlinkeny garb. He was born about 1900+/- 5 years. Family tradition states his parents posted a bond for him to leave Bulgaria so he wouldn't be conscripted to fight against Turkey in the Balkan wars in the early 1900s. He later was told by a later immigrant from his home town that his entire family was killed when the Turks invaded.
