I was in contact with Joyce Kay,a descendant in Morocco IN, some years ago, and I gave her my research, including Bible records. She searched for death/burial there of John without success. I was in Newton Co. Court House about 30 years ago, hoping to find annual personal property tax records there for John, and was shown a room full of piles of old record books, no order to them or what they were. What a mess!

I saw a death dateyear for John Kay on Findagrave and emailed the submitter, asking where she got the death date. I was very excited that someone had found his grave. She replied that she felt he died in Newton Co. and so she "gave" him a death date there. (I don't think this fits the meaning of Findagrave.) My first question is always "Where did the information come from?"
