Forgot to mention that in regard to David H. Devor, the 1860 census shows that he was born in Pa.; however, his wife, the former Nancy Sickles, daughter of Benjamin F. Sickles and Hannah Brown, was born in Ohio. Thought I should add that piece of info in case the Sickles name enters into your line anywhere. Sarah Black who married John F. Devore was also born in Ohio. Knox County I believe. The National Road ran between Knox Co. Ohio and Fayette Co. Illinois, so many Ohioans migrated to Illinois.
