This goes out to anyone planning on visiting the Lawrence county Illinois area: Irene Black's genealogical collection can be researched at her historical library in Bridgeport, Lawrence county, IL. We were there last week and the amount of information there is phenomenal. It is open on Tuesday afternoons, but I am not sure about any other hours of operation.
