By the way, the information I have and that is written in the Bible that my sister has is: Emory Clemens Brown married Martha Davis 18 March 1879. He was born 8 June 1859. Are we talking about the same person? If so, you have an incorrect name. While I'm at it:
Zedekiah Brown b. 1850 in PA d. 1-6-1865 married Eleanor (Ellen) Montgomery b. 1812 in PA d. 11-20-1848. Their children were: Hiram Harrison, Esmacy, James G, John M.,Charles W, Henrietta, Mary Jane, and Hortense(no wonder she died). He then remarried to Mary Lewton 3 Apr 1851 in Adams Co Indiana. Their children were James Brenton, Mary Jane, and Henrietta. Zedekiah and Eleanor are buried in the old Freemanton IL cemetery (there's a mystery about this. Did Hiram have gravestones put up to memorialize them because I found evidence that they are buried in Pa). Anyway Hiram married Mary Catherine Defebaugh daughter of John Culbertson Defebaugh and Isabella Barndollar Defebaugh. Hiram and Mary had Emory Clemens b 6-8-2859, Lena(my grandmother) b.7-7-1863 d. 7-9-1944, and Eugenia Belle b. 7-15-1860. I can go back a long way with Defebaugh and a long, long, long way with Barndollar, if you want. Pat
