Did anyone find out the father of Thomas Bliss of Gloucestershire? I just started at Ancestry.com and quickly ran up against this problem. Thank you, Thomas Bliss for your information. Very interesting. I too wish that I could see your article. I'm descended from the Hartford Thomas through his son Samuel. Further on, we have an actual letter from a Reuben Bliss, son of Edward of Warren, Ma. Reuben was in Washington's army at Camp Harlem Heights. The letter is dated October 7, 1776! Looking forward to learning more.
