Looks like someone was able to find the numbers for you.
I looked at Familysearch.org and found what film you need to order to get Ethel's death certificate. It's
FHL 1030917. It should cost about 3.50 for the film and take a lot less time than contacting the county. I don't see a film for Ella because the number you were provided with seems too low for that year. I would double check the index number and make sure it's 00008604.
I have a cat coming out of surgery on Thursday so I won't be making my usual trip to my FHC. I could check next Thursday or the kind person that helped maybe could double check Ella's number.

BTW, death certs that old will give you the cause of death, but not much more. They were really basic.
