I am still working with another paid genealogist, Arlene Eakle, on this Elnathan puzzle. I do know that the Elnathan born 1734 in Simsbury CT and who died in 1825 in East Bloomfield (death notice in the Canandaigua newspaper)was a Baptist and lived in Amenia, West Stockbidge and East Bloomfield. His children were Wm,Abigail, Nathan, Enoch,Smith, Ezra, Polly, Benjamin and Hannah. Hannah, b 1785 in West Stockbridge was with his last wife, Hannah Parmelee Isbell. (quit claim deed from Killingworth, CT)
The above Benjamin never married and had no children. His will is on file - can't think of western NY County. He left everything to nieces and nephhews so this source verifies nieces and nephews and his siblings.
Elnathan was in the Rev, as was his eldest son, Wm.
