My name is Donna & I found your message the Ancestry Board concerning a member of the Daughety family (Mary Juanita).

I am writing in the hopes that we might be able to exchange family history and stories to help others & ourselves in our 'quest!' It seems that readily available info on the Daughetys is rather scarce. I am also interested in the Eirwin family as well.

Am rather new to actual family research & am trying to continue the work my mother started years ago. With the use of computers, I have found a bit of family info, but there is alot more (to be sure) out there to be found.

My great-grandmother is Willie Belle (Dorothy) Daughety- sister to Harrison Eirwin Daughety. She moved to CA (date unknown). She passed away when I was a kid, so I didn't know her well. I have her parents as J.T. Daughety & Priscilla Posten Eirwin.

While on a trip back east years ago, I did get to meet Sylvia & her husband, Cliff, which has been the extent of my contact with any family there. At that time, it hadn't occurred to us to research family history to any great length, so we didn't inquire much.
