Hi David, you are right, I live in South Carolina. I have been living in US for 35 years. I sure do miss NB though. I have met several people here from Moncton, can you believe that? I have never been to Cape Breton but hear its really nice. I got cousins in Halifax. You were very young when you left so guess you would not remember!! HAHA!! I went the a convent in Moncton after the home. Notre Dame Acadie. French Catholic. I am Anglican. My father just wanted a place to put me. My mother died when I was 9 and dad would not let us go to the family. The way things turned out after the home was not so good but I'll not go into that. It all just made me stronger. I loved the home and some of my best memories as a kid are from there. We were treated very well. Some kids filed abuse charges against the home but I never saw anything happen. Not to say that it didn't, just not to me or my sisters. Guess I will hit for class, I am studying the surgical technologist courses. School keeps me young. Chat later? Patty
