I have John Creel, the brother of Preston H. Creel and Levi Creel Jr.
I show his birth date as 1828. Married to Mary Sykes, I show 3 children:
George Creel b. 1851
Hollman Creel b. 1855
Henry L. Creel b. 1858
I show John's parents as Levi Creel Sr. and Senia Stivender.

I don't have any information on where he is buried. I show that he married Mary Sykes on 15 Feb 1849 in Barbour County AL.

I am looking for info on Alfred Mcdaniel born abt 1795 in Dumfries Va. He had a son Lucian who was my great grandfather. I can't find who Alfred's dad was. I know Alfred married Nancy Goodwin. any info u can give me would be appreciated

Did you try County Line Baptist Church on hwy 431? There is a LD Searcy there. I don't think it is who you are looking for, maybe a son. There are several Searcy's there.

I am descended from Philip Alfred McDaniel, Jr. d. 1830 and am interested in learning more about William Walker, Philip's brother, and his descendents. I know the horne's were from Clopton. That family gave their dinner bell to the Clopton Methodist Church and it is still in the belltower there.
