Searching for info (location, who to contact about records) for a Wise-Robinson cemetery in Johnson Co. Also seen it listed as just Wise cemetery. Don't know if it's the same as the Robertson cemetery in Johnson Co

I have been to this cemetary and Wise-Robinson is the correct name. I have access to library records that list everyone who is buried there. I also can get the name of the person to contact who is the handle that cemetary's management. Let me know how I can help. In the cemetary index of the Johnson Co. plat book, there is no Robertson cemetary. I live in a house built by Mr. Wes Robertson who was a friend to my grandfather and operated a funeral home in Johnson Co. I also have a picture of Mr.Robertson and his wife.

Do you still have access to cemetery index for Wise-Robinson in Johnson Co.? I am trying to clear up some Robinson confusion and would greatly appreciate any help you can give. I also have been to the cemetery, but found only a military marker for a Saml Robinson, I need to know his death date if that is in the info you have. I also would love to look thru the index itself.

I found the following in Cemeteries of Burnside Tsp Johnson Co IL - p. 64

McCoy, Sarah E. Robinson; wife of Charles W. McCoy; 1832 - 1873; age 41 yr.
McCoy, Charles W.; husband of Sarah E. Robinson McCoy; March 31, 1824 -
April 3, 1889, age 65 yrs, 7 da.
There are some other McCoy's listed including a son Hugh Charles.

Is this the right family? There are several Robinsons and Robertsons
listed - can you narrow it down?

Yes, this is the right family. Sarah & Charles McCoy would be my GGG Grandparents. I would be interested in knowing all of their children that are buried there, especially Phoebe McCoy REAGAN. Julie
