Just ran across this posting. Mary Elizabeth Freed was my paternal grandmother, married to Leander (Lee) Pavey. I had always been told her parents were Charles Edward Freed and Emily Ann McCutcheon, but all the online information I find indicates they were David Freed and Elizabeth McCutcheon. According to the LDS Family Search website, Elizabeth's parents were George Washington McCutcheon and Elizabeth Collins, and in their household was a granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Freed. Have you been able to find further information since your posting?
