I don't know. I haven't been able to find out much about my grandparents. I believe they came over from Austria/Czec into New York - don't have a year or a boat - but I "heard" my grandmother had a child before she came over. I don't think she was married when she arrived in america - might have been over there - but she knew my grandfather married here. She worked for a family I believe in the New York area after she arrived doing cleaning. That's about all I know. I heard she had some brothers, but I don't know their names. There might have been a John, but I'll have to do some more checking. The older members of the family are so hush, hush about the past. they just say "They don't know anything".
