I don't know much about my Silvia (Silva?) relatives. Frances Silvia Serpa was the mother of my great-grandmother, Frances Serpa King DeFrates. She was from Fayal. I don't know what year she immigrated or if her parents came with her. So much to learn! My great-grandmother settled in Edgertown, Martha's Vineyard, Mass.
