My Aunt Rosie (maiden name Topic) was married to Andrew Topic from Sagamore Hills, Pa. Any relation? He passed away in 1956. Most of my cousins still live in Rural Valley & Sagamore Hills.

My dad (Fred Kobak) was also the son of Rose (Topick) and Andrew Kobak.

I read your response. We used to visit my Aunt Rose (your grandmother) when I was little. My brother Brian went to her funeral. Do you live in the area? Are you in contact with the family? My Uncle Johnny is the only one who continued to spell the name Topick. My cousin Violet sent me some pictures last year. Do you have any old pictures to share? My mother was Elizabeth Topick(she changed the spelling to Topic). That makes us cousins (?).

I would be intersted in sharing any pictures or information. I have been in contact with our cousin Violet (Topick) Bohan. You can email me at nren2@socal.rr.com. I have pictures of some of the family weddings and of Michael & Helen Topick.

To Kristy, your grandparents Rose & Andrew were my aunt and uncle. My brother was at Rosie's funeral in Pa. I am desperately seeking pictures of the Topick/Topic family. My cousin Violet has been helping me, she lives in Rural Valley. Please email me at nren2@socal.rr.com or at work nrundle@stradaescrow.com. Other names include, Christoff, Wroblewski, Catalano, McCoy, Breeler, Bohan, Philpott, Detwiler.....

Dear Madam, by accident we have read your message. Our's family name is so rare all over the world, even in our country am originally from Restovo, like my father, grandfather, great grandfather and so many Kobak's before my great grandfather. My father Marko died 1990 , he was berried in Vinkovci, Croatia , where we emigrated after second world war 1954 from Restovo, Croatia. Now I am living in Indjija, Vojvodina , north part off Serbia where I emigrated 1958 because of job.I was born 1936 in Restovo, so if you would like we can share more information. Best regards, Stjepan Kobak

Read your message from July 2006. My gr-gr grandfather was Janko Segina. He married Anna Kolar. Janko died and Anna married A "Kobac" They lived in the village of Restovo. My aunt visited Restovo approximately 20 yrs ago but remembers little of the visit. I am interested in any information about the Segina, Kollar, or Kobac families still living in Restovo. I am also interested in the children of Anna and Janko. My grfather was named John(Ivan). I think he had brothers named Stjephan, Anton, Louis ?. There may be other brothers and sisters but have not been successful in locating any in the US or Croatia.

Re: Kobak Family / Tyrone, PA
My g-grandmother was Barbara Kobak Radakovic (1881-1936). According to my cousins, the Rodavichs, who lived in Bellefonte, PA traveled to Tyrone to see a cousin, Clara Kobak. Does anyone recognize this name? Nobody remembers what the connection is - I assume that Clara's father is Barbara's brother.
