OK. I'm beginning to feel rather ignorant about how this trial is supposed to function. I went back to your original email, and clicked on the trial prototype link. I tried entering my own user name and password, and it would not accept that, so I entered the user name and password in your orig. email, and that got me into the trial, as someone else, not as Darlene. I did a Brown birth search in CT 1700-1720, and got appropriate results list, beginning with the Barbour collection. But, when I try to click on image, I am asked to join Ancestry.com. If I log in, I go to Ancestry.com. What am I doing wrong? As a reminder, I'm on a PC.
