There may be some connections with the Niceforo family name. I'm wrinting for my wife who is Niceforo. Her grandfather (Nicholas Niceforo) came from Italy (I can't remember the area, I'll check later) and settled in Bangor, PA. We don't have much information about his brothers and sisters, some remained in Italy.
