Thank you again Robert. In the US it was Duymich. Here is what I have found out since my earlier post. Thomas was married to a woman (name unknown) and they had 2 boys, Nicholas and John. He then married Stella and they had 6 more boys.

Family story is that when Stella came over she was introduced to the widower from her country. Could this have been throug Hrvatska Zajednica? or National Croatian Society?

The family was Catholic in Croatia. I guess it is on to parish records! I visited the Croatian Heritage Museum website. I think I could stay there for days and not exhaust all the information provided!
