Does anyone have information on an Isaac and Melissa Stanton? They were both born Indiana and lived in and had a son born in Union County in the late 1860's or early 1870's. Son was Lorenzo M. Stanton. There are connections to Illinois and working on the railroad. Family rumors that she was of Indian or mixed blood. I have long felt that Isaac may be a brother or relative to Wallace Stanton, the son of David. Any help out there??
