Former Resident of Tama County Dies at Capital

Dysart, Ia., Aug. 28,--The funeral of Frank Rampton, member of a pioneer family and resident of this vicinity until 1903, was conducted at Des Moines this week. He died Aug. 18 at the age of 70.
He spent most of his life on the Rampton homestead east of here, now owned and occupied by Fred Milne, moving to Des Moines in 1902.
Surviving are his widow, five daughters and two sons, in addition to a brother and a number of grandchildren.
The daughters and sons are: Mrs. Clark Elwell, Ella and Carrie Rampton, Des Moines; Mrs. Glen Lonsberry, Centerville, S.D., and Mrs. Max Chapman, Los Angeles, Cal.; Fred, Dysart, and Clarence, New York City. the brother, Charles Rampton, resides at Pomona, Cal.
