You need to understand that history of A-H empire. Up to 1918 all records for our ancestors would say either Austria or Hungary or both. Yours said Austria/Galicia. Galicia is part in Poland and part in Ukraine. I think I gave you the map:

Your ancestors were Ruthenian aka Byzantine Catholic (right?) The village is in Poland.
