I followed the advice given on these boards and do not have trees copied over, nor are they in member connect. Now am I going to be hurt for not copying trees?

I frequently see trees that are shown to have many sources and/or records but when I look at the tree they actually can have 0 sources. They just have family trees as their source/record. And sometimes if you look at the family trees there is no other tree shown for their source. So a tree can be shown with dozens of sources/records and actually have none.

If this is done through impersonal calculations how would the computer ever determine this? Right now thes poorly sourced trees are at the top of the hint lists.

In addition, actual birth certificates are not on ancestry in many cases. And there are many of my items that have been found on familysearch or through in person research and do not show up in my trees. Private trees could list anything and who would know. This all certainly brings up a lot of questions.
