I just came upon your message from 2000 in which you mention a Thomas Landers who settled in Columbus, Ohio. My ggrandfather was Thomas Landers born in County Kerry, came to the US in Sept 1847. Lived in Vermont, Virginia and finally ended up in Wooster, Ohio, only 90 miles north of Columbus. One of his sons was named Maurice, my grandfather. I also have much more info. Do you think there may be any connection to your research?
