I have just found this Marcotte message board with your replies to various messages and have to write to find out if you are the Paul Marcotte that I have corresponded with.

I am also very interested, and intrigued, and excited, to see the extension of a couple more generations back into France. I would like to ask you what your sources are for these new generations, ie, where did you find this new data?

FYI, I am descended from Nicolas/Martine Taurey up through my mother. I am also descended from Jacques/Elizabeth Salle, through their dau Marie Anne/Francois DeNevers. So, you can see why my interest in this research.
