While we are at it, my brother was born 29 Jun 1957 at Sarah Mayo Women's Hospital as well. It was a private adoption also, Dr. Bernard Solomon. What I remember my father telling me (but my brother remembers nothing of it) was the father was an intern/resident at Touro Infirmary and was Jewish and the mother was Irish Catholic and was a nurse at the same hospital. Rumor has it that they eventually married and had several more sons and moved to Chicago.

We have proven through DNA testing that his father was indeed Jewish and his mother most likely of Irish descent.

After the adoption he was delivered to a third party residence in New Orleans by a Dr. Connie Edwards who was a neighbor.
