I once spent a weekend at your folks' house, wallowing in genealogy with your father. You're not my third cousin, however. Our parents were first cousins, so you and I are second cousins.

I've always regretted that I let my correspondence with your father lapse when I got pregnant and had a kid. Amazing how parenthood can crowd out everything else in your life -- at least for 18 years or so. He's in college now, so I have more time (but not more money) to spend on genealogy.
