I would love to see those pictures. Its possible we maybe speaking of the same person. Caranci's lived on my street, while growin up in Downsview, Ontario. They are from other parts of Ontario as well. I am definately related to them all from Castelpizzuto.
This might be a hunch. My Aunt Pipenella(Josephine)they called her is a Caranci from Castelpizzuto.She is in her 90's now.Her maiden name was Fuscini. Her sister Filomena was my Grandmother, married Luigi Mancini.
Zia married Olindo Caranci(Castelpizzuto)who had a mother Milda(Castelpizzuto).Do not remember her husband's name.However do not re-call the name ""Gesualdua". Its possible it is.This is a big family. Too numerous to mention on here.You didn't say where you are from. If from the U.S. I do have relatives also in Ohio, Garfield Heights area. Caranci's were also related to Romano's, related to them also. Whew! we will have to communicate. Haven't even scratched the surface.
