I don't know what became of the Charles Seitz that I had mentioned. The only thing I know of him is a story that was reported in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle in the mid-1890s. Hearing noises outside one of the upstairs windows at his father's saloon on McKibbin Street in Brooklyn (maybe they lived upstairs?), he flung open the window shutters, knocking another young neighborhood boy off a ladder to his death.
