Thanks. Hilbert King and Henrietta Hill were my grandparents on my mothers side, Lovida Dabbs was Henrietta's mother. George Dabbs and Catherine Moore-(Cattie or Caddie) Dabbs were my ggg grandparents. I just wish I could figure out who Georges father was, I know his wife was Carolina Upchurch. My mother, Janice King Holmes, was born in De Kalb, TX. in 1941, but she says Lovida also married a Lyons and Henrietta Hill would be Henrietta Lyons. I will be visiting some Dabbs' in California soon and I will be sure to run the names you gave me past them. I looked for the Dabbs book at my local book store and they said the book is out of print. I looked online and haven't had any luck so far. I certainly appreciate you looking up the information you have thus far. Thanks Richard!
