Not with AncestryDNA, but I did with another service: Finnish (1.4%), Italian (2.2%) and Balkan (0.5%). None of those are populations I would've ever expected, based on my genealogy research and family oral history.

Those results have got me taking closer looks at a few ancestors in my family tree whose surnames never seemed to be spelled the same way twice in censuses and other records.
