I am also researching Hannah Tharp's family, Armstead Bowen Tharp and Irena Rickets. I went to Batson Cemetery last weekend and saw the tombstones. My husband is a descendant of Hannah's brother, John Wesley Tharp, who married Margaret Armacost.
