Thank you Mike. I don't know if ths is of any help to you but we have been told that we are related to the famous Henry Ward. My mother's half brother was named after him and her half-sister's name is Lula Stowe (the Stowe from Harriet Stowe) We are stuck on this Sanford/George name. Trying to look different places.
