Yes, Alfred Renton was married to Julia Dorgan and he ran a Real Estate Office in Kensington, Melbourne. His son Harry was the President of the International Longshoreman and Warehousemans Union on Americas west coast - he was a very important man. So much so that they have created a documentary on him which is called "from wharf rats to lords of the docks" which you can buy online. THey also showed this on PBS America last year and it is on youtube too - look under "pbs harry bridges"

Oh, Julia's sister not sure which one though - ran the womens section at Pentridge prison.
