Hi! My Harrison line is from NC and we have a lot of John Harrison's also. They were from Halifax CO. NC, then Wake Co. NC, then later Rowan Co. NC and Guilford Co. NC. I am currently stuck on John Henry Harrison born around 1818 and died 06-26-1897. We think his father was Benjamin J Harrison per the 1870 Halifax Co. NC census. Benjamin was listed living with John Henry Harrison as being 74 years old and from Virginia. Have not been able to prove if that was his father or not but it seems likely.
