Hi,

Saw your post re. Durkins - just passing along info that the following Durkins appear in the 1851 UK Census, Minster Yard w/Bedern in Yorkshire:
Nancy Durkin, Head, marr., age 46, b. Co. Mayo, Ire
Ellen Durkin, dau., unmarr., age 21, b. Mayo
Ann Durkin, dau., unmarr., age 15, b. Mayo
Bartley Durkin, son., unmarr., age 12, b. Mayo

I am searching the Dunlevy/Dunleavys who were living in York at that time. My My GG Grandparents were John Dunlevy married to Sarah ?. Sarah Dunlevy was b. in Mayo about 1800, she was living in Bedern with the Durkins, etc. in 1851, along with my G Grandmother, Bridget Dunlevy who married James Muldowney in 1853 in St. Wilfrid's in York, England.

I see that there are a lot of Dunlevys/Dunleavys b. Co. Sligo and I don't yet know where in Mayo Sarah Dunlevy may have been born. Bridget Dunlevy Muldowney settled in Mt. Carmel, Pa. in the coal regions. There were several Dunleavys in the Mt. Carmel area and are probably cousins to my Bridget.

Does the name Muldowney come into any of your lines??
Thank you.
K. Simmons
