I am trying to find some information about Mary A. (Dobson) Sleek of Bedford County, PA. She was born circa 1831, daughter of George and Hatty (Richert) Dobson. From the Blackburn family database I found that Mary Ann Dobson had two children to Mahlon Blackburn, but I do not think she was married to him. These children were Sarah Hester Blackburn, (1852 - 1924), wife of Winfield S. Naugle; and Miranda Violet Blackburn (1862 - 1944), wife of John C. Salkeld. Mary A. Dobson then had two children to Jacob A. or W. Sleek (born circa 1812), son of Jacob and Margaret (Anders) Sleek. These children were Carrie Sleek, born circa 1867, and Jacob E. Sleek (Nov. 14, 1864 - Nov. 3, 1953). According to the Blackburn family database Mary A. Dobson died in July, 1903 in Bedford County, PA. She was living in Cessna in 1880. Her son, Jacob E. Sleek is buried in Trinity Reformed Church cemetery, Dry Ridge, Bedford County. Her daughter Sarah Hester Naugle is buried in Everett Cemetery, West Providence Township. Are these two cemeteries the same? I would like to find Mary A. (Dobson) Sleek's obituary and her burial place. Can you help? Sincerely, Carolyn
