Patience. I found my b mom in 1978 - have talked several times on the phone but I have yet to go meet her. (Opposite ends of the country). I suggest honesty with her and perhaps simply talking on the phone. She probably has to get used to the idea herself. Have you explained the need for a medical history? Are there any other family members you can contact? (I found my older brother first). Does she live far from you? Perhaps you could suggest a neutral place that's in public. What is her age? Sorry I'm raising more questions, but these must be considered.
