I have a lot on Garners after they came to Wabash IN abt 1838, but nothing from Blount TN. Henry shows up with older female in 1840 census, which is probably his mother, Margaret. Also in Wabash Co. at same times George Washington Garner m Martha Stewart. My ancestor Hannah Garner m Andrew Lowman before/ abt 1838. Henry lives w Margaret thru several census and Henry m. Hannah Garner abt 20 years his junior. A John Garner comes to Wabash abt 1860. He is of same age group as Hannah, Henry, George W Garner., but in his(John's) wife's obit she's listed as Henry mother-in-law. A story in the Wabash Co History 1875 tells of Henry, George and Andrew Lowman being cronies.
