Richard- Hi- I am interested in May Mahoney, sister of your father you mention in your e-mail. When did the family immigrate from Ireland? Did May stay in Ireland, or is she named after a relative who did stay there? I have just started corresponding by snail-mail with a Jim Mahoney who still lives in Dublin, his mother was May. At this time don't know fathers 1st. name. My Grandfather came to US when he was 16 yrs. old, his name was Thomas Blackburn Knox and he had about 10 sisters & brothers. We know May was the daughter of Mary Knox. Most of family immigrated to Australia only two Knox's came to US, that we know of were my GRfather & brother Patrick ( the Priest). Our family also was catholic and my grandfathers brother was a priest in Madison, Wis.. PLEASE answer. Thanks, Iom
