Yes, I take the Sherouse family back to Germany. My web page may assist you. There is some controversy over John Christopher Sherouse and his two OR Three Grantham wives. And over a Georg Scherraus, three Johan Scherraus' and a Gotlieb Scherraus as they migrated from near Langanau Germany (near Ulm) between 1741 and 1750. They were part of the second colony in Ebeneezer GA. I have some documentation that places Georg, his wife and 2 children back in Langanau as a weaver in 1766. There are some problems in the translation of original ship logs and it would appear that the original emigrants Johannes Scherraus, his wife Maria Helena Ott and son Johannes were duplicated on two different transports. Am trying to track down original ship logs through the gentleman that transcribed them and published a book Titled "The Salzberger Saga". Johannes and his family are duplicated on two different transports. Anyway, check my site to see it it helps you put some pieces of your family tree together....
