Hi Lance . Welcome to the Glengarry Board . I know little of the McKay , other then here it was pronounced McKiiiiiiiii . My grandfather RWC Young owned part Lot 22 Street Road and a McKay still owns part of what I think is Lot 21 Street Road . I had never picked up on Sherry's posting before and I thank you for bringing it to my attention . I could not open the attachments you offered , so would appreciate you typing them in .
On Sherry's original posting she mentions Moses Kinnear who is in my tree via daughter Mary Kinnear who married Alexander Young parents of RWC YOUNG . I also have McCallum in my tree , twice . The first being Christie McCallum who arrived in Glengarry on 15 October 1775 with husband William Murray and they built a home at what they called Glen Falloch on what later became known as the Indian Lands . Yes folks that is not a typo , I said 1775 . I will add more after I have viewed your attachments . Thanks .
