I have always read where Sehoy and John Tate had just one child, David Tate, while researching this last week I found this information,"Alexander had seen fit about 1768 to have her married(Sehoy) to the last British agent in the Creek Nation before the American Revolution, Colonel John Tait. By him she bore a daughter, Eloise, in 1775, and a son, David in 1776. But the young children lost their father before they were very old. He died in 1780 on a march to Atlanta trying to strike a blow for justice in the name of George 111." "Clan of the Wind," Wilbur Stout Collection, Creek Nations Papers,University of Southern Mississippi; Thomas M. Owens, History of Alabama (Chicago, 1921), 764; Albert James Pickett, History of Alabama and Incidentally of Georgia and Mississippi, from the Earliest Period (Tuscaloosa, Alabama., 1962 (reprint), 393n; Miscellaneous Clippings, Weatherford Family File, Alabama Dept. Archives and History.
The rest of the paragraph is this: The news had scarcely arrived of her husband's death when Sehoy was remarried, this time to a Scottish Royalist from Augusta, Georgia, who had recently fled the overzealous patrotism of property-grabbing revolutionaries. Obliged to liquidate what holdings he could, Charles Weatherford resolved to begin life anew in the Creek Nation. It was not long before he had established himself on a high bluff on the left bank of the Alabama River below the confluence of the4 Coosa and the Tallapoosa.
Another paragraph reads: It might be said that Sehoy's first child of the new marriage in 1780, the same year as her late husband's demise, was the result of love at first sight. More realistically, based on the proximity of birthdates and the number of Tait children born, had John Tait survived the march to Atlanta, Charles' son would would have been a Tait rather than a Weatherford.

This article also reads that Sehoy bore Charles six children , my ancestry line comes through Elizabeth who married Sam Moniac, through Alexander Dixon Moniac and Elizabeth Ehlert or Elliott, through Sam Moniac and Susan Marlow, through David John and Catherine Hales, through Minervia Moniac and Alexander Boone, and then through the Boone line.
My mother researched for forty years before her death in 1997, on these and other ancestry lines. I never found anywhere that Sehoy and John Tate or Tait had a daughter. Would you know anything about this?
Sorry to take up so much of your time, but I would like to clear this information up.
