I can't believe I am just now seeing this, but then again, I have been concentrating on other lines. I am also a direct line descendant of Alford Williams & Elizabeth. Their daughter Elizabeth Roper married John Evans and their son Jesse Roper Evans was my great grandfather. I am so very interested in this family and finding out if Alford in any way served in the the Rev. War. I am willing to trade the information that I have in return for information.
