Hi Barbara

Yes Annie was their daughter and she did marry William Henry Wright Wilson they are my Great Great Grand parents.

Yes there are many other ancestry trees and they don't seem to match up.

Margaret Halley nee McKay died in Ballarat at the age of 76 but did live in Geelong as per Australian Electoral Rolls, 1903-1954, she was buried with her daughters family in the Ballarat Old cemetery but stated, New Cemetery on death certificate. Also stated on her death certificate that she was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. The information on the certificate was filled in by her daughter. Her parents were John McKay and Margaret McKay Unknown Maiden name.

The Alexander Halley who arrived on the Sir George Seymour sounds very close, I only wish his age was on the marriage certificate so I could line it up. If he is the right person that means he was only in Australia for 1 year before he and Margaret became married.

The Alexander Halley Buried in Geelong Eastern Cemetery is the grand son of the man I am looking for. Jessie was his wife maiden name Bell. Mons Alexander Halley was there child he was only 1 year of age.

I truly appreciate the time you have spent helping me on this, it really is quite difficult, all the things that happened around this man were in date when records were not as informative as later years unfortunately.

Kind regards
Steven
